English:  Having spent time in Florianopolis in 2010 I had already come to love the magical island and looked for any excuse to return. What better excuse than to learn Portuguese. I contacted Celisa and found myself a great teacher. In the short time I spent learning with Celisa my Portuguese improved dramatically and by the time I left Brazil my ability to communicate and even hold conversations was evident. Not only is Celisa a brilliant teacher but she is a wonderful person who is very welcoming, supportive and encouraging. Her classes are very well structured and bring ease to a difficult language. Having the ability to speak Portuguese made the time I spend in Brazil so much better, to be able to communicate with people made my trip much more exciting and as a result I made many new friends and felt far more at home. I highly recommend learning Portuguese with Celisa Canto, from the beautiful location to great classes with a great teacher… What more could you ask for?
